Raceways are re-machined and gear teeth re-cut on CNC plant that turns to 5 m diameter.
OpenInduction Hardening & Heat Treatment
A re-machined raceway is case hardened to as-new condition, to 60 HRC, before the bearing goes back together.

Jacking presses to 600 tonnes assemble the rebuild, and the same jacking and support stand system lifts the excavator for the change-out.
